The ACT is one of the most important tests a student will take, and one of the key ways for him or her to obtain scholarship money towards college. Too many students take this test with very little preparation, when having spent just a few hours a week preparing would have been very beneficial.
This course is designed to help the student prepare for the math section of the ACT. Many students have a low math score on the ACT, and a solid review and clear strategies can bring that score up.
This 4-week course will be devoted to reviewing the four areas of math needed for the ACT, as well as basic test-taking skills. Review will be done in basic Arithmetic, Algebra, Geometry, and Trigonometry. Problems will be explained and worked in class, and practice tests given to be worked at home.
Here is what one student said about the class, “Math score went up 5 points, and composite went up 4 points! Thank you so much for the help!”
